About the Item
Chromium is featuring a pair of Rob Eckhardt, pouf ‘Garni’ lounge chairs imported from the Netherlands and freshly upholstered in orange fabric. Despite there minimalist design, these amazingly comfortable chairs add a whimsical space age modern touch to your living space. Designed in the Netherlands, 1986 and produced in limited quantities by Pastoe. The wide low seat features tilted sitting cushion flanked by low wide cushions forming a frame where one can rest drinks or devices. A minimalist backrest floats above the seat on two metal and is perfectly placed to provide comfortable back support. Four minimalist circular legs also in metal, support the chair. This chair is featured in the permanent collection of the The Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam.
