About

The “Visbon”, pair of oak chairs.
The genius of this design is its use of a single steam-bent wood piece as the back support and also as the frame base, creating a three- leg, tripod effect. The three-legged chair is a recurring theme among Danish designers, perhaps it is the quest for beauty, simplicity and functionality that drives designers to revisit this challenge. Perhaps it is the legacy of the furniture craft in Denmark; for decades the Cabinetmakers guild held competitions challenging young designers judging on the merits of innovation and craftsmanship. We came across these gems while off exploring and we are sure that you will agree that these are winners. Sold as a pair, appear to be handcrafted.
