Daybed in Mahogany

About the Item

This daybed was inspired by the Uji bridge at Naiku temple in Japan. It is featured in Honduran mahogany and made for indoor/outdoor use in Honduran mahogany. This daybed is also available in oiled walnut or oiled ash. The construction of this daybed utilizes interlocking wooden joinery techniques found in temple carpentry and sashimono. The joinery and all parts of this daybed are made by hand utilizing traditional techniques. All dimensions can be modified to suit your specific needs. Please send me a note prior to placing your order if you would like a custom size. Seating height is listed with 7" thick mattress. The seat height can be adjusted, please let me know when placing the order if you need the height to changed.
