French Early 19th Century Mahogany Daybed

About

Elegant antique daybed (called Meridienne in French) from Empire period with a mahogany frame. Offers three backrests and two bedheads cambered toward the outside and four short feet in console shape with moldings and their original casters. Newly reupholstered in a light blue silk on all sides, permitting this beautiful piece to be positioned anywhere in a room. Used for resting or seating but always very decorative.
