Horst Brüning for Kill International, daybed model 6915, chrome-plated steel, leather, Germany, 1960s This well-designed daybed shows a solid construction of delicate lines and round edges. Most remarkable is the minimalist chrome frame that holds the black leather mattress in a graceful manner. The thin chrome slats develop into the legs, creating a nearly floating appearance. In 1963 he set up an architecture and design office in Stuttgart. During this period, Brüning encountered Kill International, Kill International is an established and famous manufacturer, who have also produced many designs by Preben Fabricius and Jörgen Kastholm.
