1950s Blonde Stickback Dining Chairs By Ton – Set Of Six
1950s Harlequin Stickback Chairs By Ton – Set Of Six. These chairs were produced by the famous Czech firm Ton, a post war spin off from the famous Thonet factory that was carved up and nationalised in the post war political upheaval, still trading today and producing beautiful chairs. This is a beautiful set of their best stickback shape, with the thicker more ‘bentwood’ design seat and graceful backs. We have gently restored the frames but kept the original character, good practical chairs. We service each chair individually before it leaves our workshop and we deliver chairs of excellent quality. Seat height 45cm.
WORKSHOP REPORT
Our workshop team inspect every product and carry out any needed repairs to ensure that everything leaves us serviced and maintained ready for many more years of life. All of our vintage products show the rich beauty and history of their life with the knocks and bumps of many years of use and we try to minimise restoration to keep every piece as original as possible.
