These armchairs are characterized by an unusual aesthetics that are created during the postmodern era in Italy. The backrest smoothly runs over into the armrests through a curvaceous movement. The red tube visually divides the back in two parts, which gives the chair extra dimensionality. The seat is lifted up by four tubular legs and give the overall unit a strong, dynamic appeal. The use of rubber and the color combinations allude to the design ethos of the 1980s in Italy.
