About the Item

Arne Hovmand-Olsen, set of twelve dining chairs, teak, fabric, leatherette, Denmark, 1960s Set of twelve dining chairs designed by the Danish designer Arne Hovmand-Olsen. The chairs have a very simple and organic design. The rounded back turns into the armrest and seating in one flowing motion. The black leatherette and striped beige upholstery create an exiting interruption in the flow, wrapping the back of the chair tightly in the upholstery. This ensures a beautiful contrast between the materials and the warm color of the teak. Please note that these items are in good, used condition. There might be some slight differences in the tone of the wood of the chairs. In addition, we advise reupholstery before use. This item contains some threadbare upholstery with loose seams and small stains. Reupholstery can be done before shipping by our experienced craftsmen and -women in our own in-house restoration atelier. With high attention for the original, they make sure every piece contains its value and is ready for the many years to come. We kindly ask you to contact our design experts for further information about the endless possibilities our restoration and upholstery atelier has to offer. Of course, a locally organized reupholstery is possible as well.
