About the Item

Spectacular set of 10 beautifully sculpted Danish Modern teak-dining chairs designed by Benny Linden. Maker’s label under seat {Benny Linden Design}. Superbly crafted, sculpted, modern teak dining chairs with padded seats. Featuring padded “floating” seats covered in Newly Reupholstered High density foam DACRON UPHOLSTERY BATTING and 100% polyester tweed fabric. The oatmeal upholstery and stunning teak grain frames creates a lovely contrast. Great set of ten hard to find Benny Linden teak mid-century chairs. Curved dramatically tall sculptural backs make a visual statement and shape provides nice comfort. The prominent height of the curved chair backs continuing down to the floor resemble the distinctive bold designs of the renowned American architect and designer Frank Lloyd Wright. Their linear profile incorporates a subtle ergonomic curve simulating the natural curve of the spine. The shape of the seats, widening at the front, add innovative continuity to this unique design. The comfortable padded seats have been Newly Reupholstered. These chairs demand attention and will be a striking feature in any dining area. The solid frames made with exceptional craftsmanship are very sturdy. The upholstery is in excellent condition. Benny Linden is known for his Danish Modern style, which encompasses a minimalist aesthetic from Denmark popular in the first half of the 20th century.
