DC_02’s most prominent line is the long slight bend of its back legs, starting from the floor and up to the backrest. Minimalist in details, but rich in shape and attitude, it will easily accompany any dining table. DC_02 can be finished in any fabric or leather. NACHSHON is an independent furniture design studio from Haifa, Israel, which also includes a manufacturing workshop. Every furniture in our collection holds a story; from the first inspiration through production and the complete creation. Tomer Nachshon is an Israeli architect and designer, and currently the leading founder of the Haifa-based studio. Tomer founded the studio in his family workshop, right after his studies. While growing up he absorbed there the love and understanding of materials and techniques which are applied today on the different products. The combination of architectural knowledge and the physical work enables constant iterations between different scales and points of view. A strong connection to the materials we use and the actual piece is created by being a part of the whole process – thus creating understanding that is beyond the sketchbook alone.
