This is a spectacular set of French Louis XV paint decorated dining chairs by Auffray furniture, a legendary American furniture manufacturer who made the most beautiful and accurate interpretations of antique French furniture in the USA. The build quality and construction of the chairs and the finish is just gorgeous. The chairs are used so there will be signs of use and minor stains as to be expected but nothing very obvious. The frames are just gorgeous and the chairs measure 41.5 tall x 25.75 wide x 24.5 tall x 20.5 seat height. They date to the 1970s era.
