Set Of Ten French Louie XVI Style Painted Dining Chairs
About the Item
Harlequin set of ten dining chairs made in grand French Louis XVI style. Chairs feature a molded frame with an oval shaped seat back, finished in a cream colored lacquer. Frames are upholstered in a European style gold and cream velvet with brass tack nail head borders. Generous seats are bowed in front and decorated with carved rosettes on the corners. Supported by elegant tapered, fluted legs ending with toupie feet. Excellent joinery and craftsmanship with a classic continental profile and color. Made in the style and manner of Maisen Jansen with a lovely aged patina. Can be used as is or reupholstered with matching fabric of your liking.
