Late 19th Century Eight Victorian Scottish Red Leather & Oak Dining Chairs

About the Item

A good sturdy run off eight oak and red leather upholstered dinning chairs, recently acquired from a Scottish estate. The oak is well carved, with a great conker colour The leather is of particularly good quality hence why it has lasted so well (likely to be goat), and has obtained that wonderful wear over the years from day to day use. Six standard dining chairs, with two carvers. Circa 1880 in age, with some wonderful make do and mend estate repairs. Steel and brass bars have be added to add strength to old breaks and repairs. All the chairs have front castors, and are very much fit for purpose.
