About the Item
Handsome vintage Rustic natural log frame dining chairs with traditional serape or jorango blanket upholstered seats & backs. Beautiful condition, keeping in mind these are vintage and not new so will have signs of use and wear even if it has been refinished or restored. Specifically, they have been given a fresh coat of shellac and they have new dust covers on the seats. The pattern of the blankets used for upholstery do not match exactly but only adds to their charm. Please see photos and zoom in for details as they are part of the condition report. We attempt to portray any imperfections. Circa, Late 20th Century.
These chairs are Wonderfully Western, Splendidly Spanish, and Remarkably Rustic!! This is a spectacular set of four vintage natural log frame dining chairs with an incredible traditional serape or jorango blanket upholstered seats & backs. The blanket fabric is heavy, and each chair varies a bit in color and design patterns including diamonds & stripes and colors of gray, blue, black, off white, and mauve. Each chair is a bit unique, and the log frames have all the right innate imperfections such as possible bumps, curves, and characteristics of the natural logs. They are built solid and sturdy with spectacular straight Rustic lines. The back legs extend up into tall back posts, and they have a stretcher in between all four legs of the base. These chairs have a Western and Spanish flair that would be perfect in any room of your rustic resort, dude ranch, lodge, cabin, or facing the fireplace or wood burning stove in the family room. They will look perfect around your western style or country home dining table in your Hacienda style home or with your modern country, Southwestern, industrial, or eclectic designed living space and decor. Or…maybe you have a rustic breakfast nook or a Spanish style rec room in your mountain home that needs just the right set of chairs around the game table? Here they are! So, however you choose and wherever you choose… Just choose to make them YOURS!!!!
