About the Item

Set of sculptural walnut dining chairs, designed by Bertha Schaeffer for Singer and Sons, Italy, circa 1950s. Schaeffer designed these dining chairs along with his contemporaries Gio Ponti, Ico Parisi, and Carlo de Carli, all of which were made in Italy for the American company, Singer and Sons. These chairs are currently being refinished and retain their original black leather upholstery with some wear. If you prefer, we can reupholster them in your fabric for an additional $300. Simply send us 3 yards of your fabric after purchase.
