Set of 6 Antique French Empire Revival Mahogany Dining Chairs
About the Item
Set of 6 Antique French Empire Revival Mahogany Dining Chairs represent a tailored expression of the style, featuring gracefully curved legs designed for visual appeal as well as adding stability to the design. Seat backs are straightforward but deceptively comfortable, with a rounded top cross piece, and a single horizontal splat pierce-carved to resemble two lyre forms, centered with a bronze medallion rosette. Seats are a good height, and upholstered recently in a fine damascene fabric in a beautiful subdued gold and complementary beige tone that will prove very adaptable. The richness of the exotic imported wood cannot be denied, as well!
