Set Of Eight Vintage Dining Chairs By Hitchcock of Hitchcockville Conn.
About the Item
A fine set of classic Hitchcock dining chairs including six side chairs and two armchairs. All painted in a red-brown, the stenciled backs in a Theorem style with urns filled with fruits and grape clusters with gilt details. The rush seats have blue and white plaid tie on cushions. The reeded turned legs with stretchers all around.
H. 34 1/2", Depth 18", W. 17 1/2", seat H. 19" with cushions
Condition: Please see the photos for details of the condition. The set is in overall very good condition with only acceptable age-related wear including some expected minor finish losses which do not detract from the authentic and colorful presentation.
