Set of Four (4) Poul Volther for Frem Rojle Danish Modern Dining Chairs, Denmark

About the Item

Designed by Poul Volther for Frem Rojle these exceptional dining chairs are comprised of four straight cylindrical tapered legs with the front two stopping at the seat top and the back two continuing up as the back-support posts. The back is a simple bowed band of honey oak between the two posts and the seat is comprised of a beautiful ebony basket weave twisted Danish paper cord. As comfortable as they are understated these gorgeous seats are a perfect match for both teak and oak tables or desks. The majority of these model chairs were constructed in teak so finding a set in honey oak is becoming increasingly difficult to find especially in such fabulous original, vintage condition. Refinished. Wear consistent with age and use. This exceptional set of dining chairs are in superb condition and feature newly stained Danish paper cord. The solid Honey Oak frames and legs are in 100% original, vintage condition and show no scratches, gouges or stains whatsoever. The paper cord.
