Set of Fourteen English Baroque Style Walnut Barley Twist Dining Chairs
About the Item
Magnificent set of fourteen English walnut dining armchairs featuring barley twist frames in the Baroque taste. Beautifully crafted with wood peg joinery. The generous seat has barley twist arms measuring 27.5 inches high in the front decorated with a brass rosette on the top. The chairs have vintage red velvet upholstery bordered with patinated brass tack nail heads. While the fabric is slightly faded it is still presentable. The frames have stable joinery with a desirable aged patina on the walnut finish. The grand set consists of all matching armchairs. Lovely profile with a rich finish that showcases the walnut woodgrains. Would be very dramatic with updated fabric.
