Set of Six Painted Wicker Rattan Garden Dining Armchairs

About the Item

Mid-century modern set of six rattan garden dining armchairs made in the California coastal organic modern style featuring a vintage painted finish. Beautifully crafted with large high back rattan frames decorated with pencil reed lattice wicker in a geometric pattern. The frames have a waisted form that flares out towards the top and bottom. The seat is accented by a braided rattan border. There are vintage seat cushions for 5 chairs with linen style upholstery that is still presentable having a foliate motif. Seats measure 16 inches high and 19 inches including cushions. The chairs have a vintage painted finish on the rattan with a desirable amount of age and patina.

Wear consistent with age and use. Minor losses. Beautifully crafted with a distressed patina finish. Age appropriate wear with paint chips, scuffs, and minor wicker losses as expected. Five chairs have vintage seat cushions and one chair is missing pads. From an estate in San Francisco.
