Silhouette is a surreal reminiscence of a woman’s sensual curves that arise designed in an eye-catching dining chair.
The joint dimension of people and objects represented by several 20th century artists strongly influenced Silhouette, whose elegant translucent dark brown wooden structure uncovers parts of a woman’s body who sits on it. The slightly curved seat, upholstered by hand in this wonderful fabric with golden threads, draws an inviting smile that harmonizes with the structure, revealing the movement of the hips, as parts of a female body.

Created by Architect Joana Santos Barbosa in 2012, Insidherland is a Portuguese brand of author design inspired by natural wonders and artistic influences. Joana explores influences from travels around the World to define her own Land as a place that transforms her unique vision into pieces of art. InsidherLand collections are designed as a dialog, being Beyond Memory deeply influenced by organic forms of nature and traditional cultures and Identity, molded by Art and Architectural forms. Drawn with Joana’s signature and handcrafted by her team of Portuguese master craftsmen, the impressive contemporary furniture, lighting, upholstery and accessories have been highlighted as soulful designs that embody the expertise of traditional craft techniques with high quality finishes.
