About

An extraordinary set of six mid-17th century Louis XIII late Renaissance period dining side chairs. Hand-turned and carved oak, dual turned front stretchers, flat H-stretchers, and solid planed oak back-boards; recently re-upholstered to today's most discriminating taste and standards. Highly unusual to find a 360+ year old set of ergonomically perfect and structurally sound museum quality chairs, suitable for immediate everyday use.
Provenance includes the Renaissance furniture gallery of Jacqueline Boccador in Paris, and recently ex: a private collection in Tuxedo Park, New York.
For a composed set of 8: consider combining with the 2 Italian Neoclassical Piedmontese Armchairs simultaneously offered in our site.
