Stylish, Mid-Century Cor Alons Bentwood Side Chair
About the Item
Beautiful single Cor Alons dining chair with it's signature bent teak plywood frame, original brown skai (faux leather) upholstery and nail-head detail on the backrest. Cornelius Louis (Cor) Alons, interior designer, industrial designer and painter, was born in Groningen, The Netherlands and (together with Frits Spanjaard) belonged to the first generation of Dutch interior architects that not only designed furniture, but also looked at the space in which the furniture was placed. This chair is in original condition with visible wear consistent with it's age and use. Matching set of 4 also available and listed separately (LU922437250592).
