Twelve Sleek Chrome Dining Chairs by Anton Lorenz for Thonet
About the Item
This attractive set of twelve, designed by the legendary Anton Lorenz. The man who brought tubular steel furniture to the masses. The classic bauhaus design features a sleek, sculptural profile with clean, geometric lines and gentle curves to create a piece with timeless appeal. This design is based on the model SS33 dining chairs. The very comfortable padded seats and backrests are upholstered in a beige colored leatherette and rests on a perfectly balanced chrome-plated tubular steel cantilevered frame with an added bar provides sturdy support. Ready for use. Originally designed and produced in the 1930's and later manufactured by Gebruder Thonet in the 1970s, these mid-century chairs remain in demand and relevant to today's style trends.
