Very Fine Set of Sixteen Shield-Back Dining Chairs
About the Item
A large and very well made set of Classic Mahogany Shield-Back Dining Chairs . With handsome softly grained wood, and a well-formed Frame with Classic Shield back with Stylized Back Splat, H-Form Stretcher, Tapered Block Feet and Rope Carving Trim to the seat. The seats are high and overstuffed, Custom Upholstered in a Tan, Green and Deep Rose Stripe. The Chairs are sturdy and very comfortable.
Condition: The Set is in overall very good condition with age-related slight nicks, chips and some scratches to a few of the frames as well as a few spots and old stains to the fabric on a few of the chairs. The aforementioned is for accuracy as the lthe Set presents in a fine and impressive way.
The Arm Chairs Measure 22” wide by 23.5” deep by 38” high. Seat height 18.5”. Arm height 27” tapers up to 28.75”.
The Side Chairs measure 19” wide by 19.75” deep by 36.25” high. Seat height 18.5”. (These dimensions listed above).
