French Louis XVI giltwood salon suite
This stunning 3 pieces salon suite consists of a full size settee with 2 matching chairs
This suite dates from the 1800s
Original horse hair/seaweed filling
Original hessian covering
The gilt has wear and losses from years of use
The suite has been stripped back and is ready for a new upholstery
The original upholstery nails remain front and back
This would have been an expensive and very well made suite when it was new
Webbing and springs, all strong, no issues or sagging
Settee 175cm width, 105cm height, 65cm depth, 40cm seat height
Chairs 68cm width, 102.5cm height, 65cm depth, 40cm seat height
