About the Item
Brutalist set of chair and writing desk, maple, Europe 1960s
Beautiful and naturalistic set consisting of a writing table and chair made in Europe in the 1960s. The chair features a backrest consisting of two pieces of maplewood. Another slab is used for the seat. The chair has a subtle cross-shape between the four sturdy legs made from smaller wood branches. The ensemble breathes a naturalistic atmosphere due to the properties of the wood and the simplistic way it is put together. The solid wood is of great quality and creates a warm and pleasant ambiance. This rustic set will come forward nicely in a relaxing surrounding, like a patio or a studio space.
