About the Item
Pair of stunning leather and rosewood 'Ilona' lounge chairs by Arne Norell, circa 1971.
Leather, rosewood, fabric, brass. Manufactured by Norrel Mobel AB, Sweden.
Classic Arne Norell design features a very clever construction which creates a stunning contrast both in materials and color. The frames are comprised of jacaranda with brass buckles supporting thick luxurious saddle leather. The brown leather cushions have a warm patina and are extremely comfortable.
Very good original condition. Occasional minor scratches or scuffing to the rosewood frame. Leather throughout has minor areas of fading, creasing, marks and scuffing which results in a gorgeous patina.
Each chair: 31” H x 33” W x 32” D
Seat height: 16”
