About the Item

The iconic armchair named “Bratislava” as it was originally produced for the airport in Bratislava city. Designed by Jindrich Volak, this armchair was produced by Drevopodnik Holesov in 1960s. Bended woodlaminate, a novel material created by pressing together pieces of wooden veneer, is used to construct the armchair’s base. This new technique, back then, gave designers the chance to create incredible shapes. 2 Available.

    Wear consistent with age and use. This is in excellent vintage condition. The fabric has been recently replaced by the last owner; it is a soft chenille. Some light wear to the frames; these are ready to enjoy.
