COR Sinus Leather Lounge Chair by Reinhold Adolf & Hans-Jürgen Schröpfer, 1976

About the Item

First Edition 'Sinus' lounge armchair by Reinhold Adolf & Hans-Jürgen Schröpfer for Cor, Germany 1976 Original Sinus chair with its original smooth und unharmed leather. The Sinus chair received its name from the formal aesthetics of the steel spring rockers. The lounge chair is extremely comfortable due to the architecture of the giant spring and the soft leather rolls. The original leather from this chair is still in great condition and shows a uniquely aged patina, very unique and lively. There are no defects to the leather, which we have also treated with conditioner to make it even smoother. The leather straps/belts and steel base are in good condition. It's a great chair and very hard to find in this condition. Dimensions are H.34.3" x W.30.3 x D.35.5". Seat height is 17.3".
