Danish Art Deco or Early Midcentury Lounge Chair in Green Mohair 1930-40s
About the Item
Curvy and eye-catching Danish club chair from the 1930s or 1940s. Set on mahogany feet the design is typical of the art "funkis" period and with a smooth back and simple rounded armrests. Simple and consistent aesthetics emphasizing functionality over ornamentation. Sturdy and sound construction with solid frame made from beech. Later re-upholstered in a midcentury mohair wool fabric and is in still usable condition. We are able to offer re-upholstery services on this chair at a very competitive price.
