About the Item

Lounge chair, dark stained teak, velvet fabric, Denmark, 1960s This classic lounge chair of Danish origin features modest and subtle lines and shapes that emphasize the clear construction of the design. A nice detail is how the back elegantly runs over into the armrests, developing in a curved shape at both ends. The seat rests on a platform executed in dark stained teak that is based on an elongated hemispherical shaped frame, which creates a floating appearance. As a result, this brings the lounge chair a more open and inviting look to the quite solid design. Please note that we advise reupholstery before use. This item might contain some threadbare upholstery with loose seams and small stains. Reupholstery can be done before shipping by our experienced craftsmen and -women in our own in-house restoration atelier.
