About the Item
Comfortable Brazilian-inspired (safari) lounge chair, model Amiral, designed by Eric Merthen for IRE Möbler Sweden, 1960s. Rosewood frame with removable leather cushions supported by a thick leather hammock. The leather straps of the hammock have been replaced. The original red leather cushions are in beautiful vintage condition with patina and light signs of wear. If necessary, these can be reupholstered with a leather or fabric of your choice. The hardwood frame is in good, sturdy condition with minor signs of wear.
