About the Item

Pair of easy chairs, fabric, stained beech, brass, Europe, 1940s. These armchairs exude the Art Deco style of the 1940s. With its imposing shapes, this design deserves a prominent place in one's interior. Truly exceptional about this piece are the largely sized armrests that consist of a round shape with diagonal placed feet. In fact, this feature is the defining design element. The seat is upholstered in a fine fabric in off-white decorated with red orange tulips and green leaves. The spacious seat, angled backrest, and plush armrests offer exceptional comfort. Please note that these chairs are in good, used condition. Reupholstery can be done before shipping by our experienced craftsmen and -women in our own in-house restoration atelier. With high attention for the original, they make sure every piece contains its value and is ready for the many years to come.
