Jørgen Høvelskov. Lounge chair model "Harp" designed by Jørgen Høvelskov. Solid black-glazed ash wood frame, seat and back in black flag line. Manufactured by Jørgen Christensen, in Denmark in the 1990s. In perfect condition, newly lacqured and with new flagline, made by a cabinetmaker from the original production. The chair belonged to him. Sculptural and comfortable chair! Inspired by the arched curves of the bow and stern of a Viking ship, the chair was originally called the Viking chair when it was first displayed in 1963. Lit. Noritsugu Oda. 'Danish Chairs' reproduced and featured p. 178, Bygge & Bo 1962.
