Handsome pair of vintage Henredon club chairs or lounge chairs upholstered in Escapade fabric by Fabricut in their Carbon colorway, which is a charcoal gray tweed, with button back detail. Fabulous condition, keeping in mind that these are vintage and not new so will have signs of use and wear. These were recently re-upholstered prior to us obtaining them. This is a dynamic duo from the iconic Henredon Fine Furniture Company and was re-upholstered in this phenomenal Escapade Carbon fabric by Fabricut prior to our obtaining them. They have a semi-attached tufted back, loose seat cushions, and straight tapered wood legs. They’re a bit mid-century, transitional, or Hollywood Regency in style and would be an awesome addition in your living room, one on each end or across from your sofa. Their deep charcoal gray tweed fabric makes them a marvelous candidate for a den across from a desk or in a sitting room with a side table in between. If you’ve been searching for comfortable seating with lavishing appeal, you just found it. Henredon was founded in 1945 by four Drexel Heritage executives; T. Henry Wilson, Ralph Edwards, Donnell VanOpppen, and Sterling Collet. The name Henredon is a combination of their names. These four men were determined to build furniture of custom quality and their original offering was only three chests. It has since blossomed into hundreds of designs still in keeping with their goal. Through the years they have engaged well known designers to create their unique and Fine furniture. They currently are part of the company Furniture Brands, Inc. but still embracing their long-standing tradition of Fine furniture craftsmanship and reputation for timeless elegance.
