Handmade leather sling chair in tobacco leather fixed to a blackened steel frame with a heavy saddle stitch and hammered brass rivets. Ergonomically designed for comfort. Designed and made to order in New York. This piece is crafted using heavy vegetable tanned leather sourced in North America. This leather is 'full grain' meaning the upper most layer of the hide is still intact and has not undergone any superficial stamping or coating treatments to disguise the natural characteristics of the leather. Because this is a natural material, certain characteristics are present that coincide with an animal that has lived a life in nature. Wrinkles, scars, and stretch marks may be present giving each piece a unique look that honors the source of where it originated. Please note that while we take time to select the most pristine grade of hides available, there is no such thing as a hide with no inclusions and these are not considered flaws or damages.
