Mogens Lassen Style Danish 1940s Highback Lounge Chair

Super charming 1940s highback lounge chair in the style of Flemming Lassen with very sculptural organic shape and harmonious proportions. Versatile and very suitable for a smaller space in need of a stronger statement. Raised on stained beech legs and beech frame. Springs in seat and padding remains firm and the wool fabric which was added at a later point is still usable even if e recommend to have the chair reupholstered. The chair is almost identical to Lassen's famous highback chair but only differs in the design of the very top of the backrest that is shaped a little bit different. The measurements are otherwise identical and it could well be a variant of his chair. The chair would be fantastic re-upholstered in shearling or lambswool and we are happy to reupholster at a very competitive price. Overall very good condition.
