About the Item

Magnificent and rare pair of Art Deco Amsterdamse School lounge chairs. Design by Anton Lucas for N.V. Meubelkunst Leiden. Striking Dutch design from the 1920s. Solid oak frames with solid ebony macassar armrests and details at both sides. Re-upholstered with a velvet fabric by the previous owner. The feet are original veneered with ebony macassar veneer. This wonderful pair of Art Deco Amsterdamse School lounge chairs by Anton Lucas for N.V. Meubelkunst Leiden is in very good original condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina. A real eye-catcher for your home or office.
