Pair of Danish 1940s High and Low Back Easy Chairs with Open Armrests
About the Item
Classic pair of elegant Danish "His and Hers" armchairs from the 1940s by Alfred Christensen for Slagelse Mobelvaerk with open armrests in beautifully curved stained beech. Nice slim elegant silhouette. Solid and sturdy construction. These chairs have copper coils in both seat and backrest. The original fabric is worn and the chairs need to be reupholstered which we are happy to offer at a very competitive price. Overall very good condition with just minimal patina and wear to armrests and legs.
The low chair is 32.75 inches tall 7 inches shorter than the tall one
Lowback measurements are: 26.75"w x 32"h x 30.5"d seat height is 17". SD is 19"
