Ultra rare lounge chair model PSE58 designed by Paul Schneider von Esleben made by H.Kauffeld, Germany 1953. This chair was designed and made in 1953 for the Mannesmann-Hochhaus Dusseldorf, Germany. The chair has a solid chrome plated metal frame and all the pressure rests on the black metal balls in the middle. An ingenious system and an amazing progressive chair for that time, imagine this chair was made in 1953 already. Only very few examples of these chairs were made for the building in Dusseldorf, on a few floors you would find 4-6 of these chairs but the exact production numbers are unknown. This is one of the few known chairs that still exist. The chairs leather is redone with preservation of the old straps, patina and originality like it was before with high quality leather.
