A Set of 2 Heron Chairs with Ottomans - Newly Refinished and Reupholstered
About the Item
Designed in 1966, the Heron rocking chair by Mitsumasa Sugasawa for Tendo Mokko is one of the most iconic Japanese designs with a Western influence.
It features bentwood oak construction in tandem with 2 different inlays in the middle portions of the chair and ottoman legs. The shape of the complete chair + ottoman set is both minimal and very inviting.
This set went through full refinishing and restoration of the wood frames at Moore's Refinishing and features new upholstery done by the legendary Los Angeles shop Dynasty Upholstery. The fabric on this set is by Holland and Cherry (est. 1836) - 100% Wool (Mélange Wool Bouclé) called Brunswick Snow, made in Chile.
