Set of Two (2) Barrel Back Lounge Chairs in Walnut After Nanna Ditzel, c. 1960's
About the Item
Introducing an ultra-rare set of barrel-back lounge chairs stamped "1968" after Nanna Ditzel. Featuring solid black walnut frames with stunning old-growth woodgrains and the original two-tone fabric that perfectly offsets the walnut woodgrains - all set atop a set of casters this polished chair set is ideal for collectors and designers alike.
Styled after Nanna Ditzel and crafted in the manner of Adrian Pearsall's Craft Associates these posh chairs were likely the inspiration behind Tom Dixon's iconic "Fat Lounge Chair". With their unique barrel-shaped construction, spectacular original upholstery, and elegant design this chair set can blend seamlessly against a myriad of design backdrops from Mid-Century Modern to Contemporary to Bohemian. Keep them as is or have us re-upholster them in a fabric of your choosing. Either way, make these incredibly rare chairs yours today before their gone forever.
