Studio Tecnico for Mobilquattro 'Delta 699' Lounge Chairs

About the Item

Studio Tecnico for Mobilquattro, ‘Delta 699’ lounge chairs, velvet, fiberglass, Italy, 1970s The 'Delta 699' chairs, crafted by Studio Tecnico and G.G. Biemme for Mobilquattro, stand out for their distinctive postmodern design. They feature a base and shell constructed from fiberglass, creating an intriguing interplay between the rigid fiberglass and the plushness of velvet fabric. Moreover, the tapered frame adds to the chair's uniqueness, accentuating its unconventional design. Please note that these chairs are in good, used condition. Reupholstery can be done before shipping by our experienced craftsman in our own in-house restoration atelier. With high attention for the original, they make sure every piece retains its value and is ready for the many years to come. We kindly ask you to contact our design experts for further information about the endless possibilities our restoration and upholstery atelier has to offer. Of course, a locally organized reupholstery is possible too.

Aldo Barberi for Rossi di Albizzate, ‘Break’ folding lounge chairs, plastic, fabric, Italy, 1970s This exceptional set of portable folding lounge chairs is designed by the Italian designer Aldo Barberi for his series called ‘Break’. This design truly resembles the ethos of the seventies, featuring the commonly used material of that time named fiberglass in combination with a striped fabric executed in the colors orange, different shades of brown, and off-white.
