An absolutely jaw-dropping pair of meticulously restored "Double Horse Shoe" loungers, circa 1940. A pair of these rare chairs were famously displayed in the now iconic 2007 Architectural Digest photo spread capturing Ralph and Ricky Lauren's elegant Round Hill estate. While unmarked, these fabulous difficult to find examples are consistent with the Paul Frankl production of the early 1940s. Stout, expertly crafted rattan construction with handsome cane binding accents. Extremely comfortable. Special chairs specifically designed to anchor a cherished room. The quintessential look of serious old money. Excellent Restored Condition. Professionally cleaned and re-lacquered; the finish demonstrates a stunning depth and luster. All cane bindings are intact and complete. Expert custom upholstery service is available.
