We are delighted to offer for sale this lovely original Mid Century Modern circa 1961 Peter Lovig Danish Teak office desk armchair with new heritage black leather upholstery

An iconic design, highly collectable and extremely stylish, this Lovig armchair is the stuff of dreams for all MCM collectors. The lines, the subtlety of the back and sides, it all just screams Danish style. The looks to be teak but when you look closely, the arm tops and sides have a rosewood grain so I think it's its a bit of both
We have cleaned waxed and polished the timber from top to bottom, it has a good honest patina throughout, this is one of the finer examples you will find, the leather as mentioned is brand new, originally these chairs came with faux PU leather which wasn't nice at all, this hide is absolutely stunning
