19th Century Regency Arm Chair with Scrolled Arms, English
About the Item
A fine arm chair from the English Regency period in mahogany with a scroll arm. This would be a fantastic arm chair to add a bit of character to a library or to be used as a compliment to an antique desk. The mahogany has developed a lovely patina over time and is of good proportion with the overall width at 25 inches across the back splat and 17.5 inches between the arms on the inside. A caster on each front legs certainly adds to the style and also ease of movement. The seat is easily reupholstered if need be.
