About the Item
We are delighted to offer for sale this lovely, lightly restored original leather hide, vintage hand dyed Mahogany brown leather Chesterfield tufted director’s chair.
A very good looking well made and comfortable director’s chair. Its chesterfield buttoned both back and base, the seat platform is a traditional sprung base so very comfortable, this is the bosses chair, is large and in charge.
It has been restored as mentioned to include a deep clean, hand condition wax and hand polish, its also had five new solid English brass castors fitted, these aren't the cheaper repo ones, these cost £36 per castor, they are solid and will last a lifetime

Please note vintage period and original items such as leather seating will always have natural patina in the form of creasing and wear, we recommend annual waxing to ensure no moisture is lost, also hand dyed leather is not recommended to sit in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as it will dry out and fade.
