The Hampton Footstool
About the Item
Made to Order from our Lorfords Contemporary collection. The Hampton Footstool packs in masses of comfort to its petite proportions. Based on a 19th Century Howard and Sons design, the stool is topped with a 4” cushion of luxurious down. Whether a soft perch for a brief conversation, or the perfect place for pampered ankles, the Hampton is an indispensable accessory for many homes.
We build our Hampton Footstool up from a hardwood beech frame, using only traditional methods and materials. With hand-tied coil-springs, there is no foam used in the build up. What makes this footstool so comfortable is the high down content (50% down, 50% feather). The down gives the cushion lovely softness, while the feathers provide loft and spring.
The legs can be either tapered or turned and come in a variety of woods and finishes.
The Hampton, like all of our models, can be made completely bespoke. We want this to be your perfect footstool.
The price excludes fabric. If you need some help finding the perfect fabric, let us know. It takes approximately 2.5 metres in a plain fabric to cover a standard Hampton Footstool.

The Hampton, like all of our pieces, can be made completely bespoke. We want this to be your perfect footstool, so if you want it a bit bigger or smaller, softer or firmer, or anything else just ask and we will do our best to accommodate.
