About the Item
The poufs are a form of modular furniture designed for both relaxation and seating. They are constructed from soft foam covered with a thick, elastic fabric that conceals any visible seams. Drawing inspiration from the intricate art of Shibari, a system of ropes confines the soft masses, creating lines of tension and alluring contours, imbuing them with an almost erotic allure. Each pouf embodies a domestic scale, evoking the cozy familiarity of a sofa. It can stand alone as a sensuous and inviting everyday object, sparking playful interactions. It can be hugged, sat on, leaned against, or grasped in many ways. Its interlocking shape also allows it to be assembled with other units as part of a larger modular system, resembling the intertwining forms of entangled bodies.
